CAMPAIGN·WHITE DWARF 308

Operation Chrysos: Playing the Campaign

August 2005·pp. 82–85

THE SHORT VERSION

The campaign draws on Creed’s use of warp storms to redeploy Imperial forces without exposing stripped worlds to fresh attack. Each turn a Strategy Rating roll establishes initiative, then each player can claim one adjacent empty node or attack an occupied one. Route difficulties may prevent movement, and a drawn battle leaves the location unoccupied. Fifteen described sites supply initial control, themed terrain and mission selections; the first side to capture ten nodes wins.
