THE SHORT VERSION

Herek Sound’s bridge connects coastal approaches to Lemek Fields, but a suspicious plague outbreak has forced the undermanned defenders into quarantine. The node begins unoccupied and uses Take and Hold or Patrol. Bleak terrain, with a coastline if available, expresses the exposed route and the strategic consequences of a garrison unable to support its neighbours.
