MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 308

Making Backpacks

August 2005·p. 117

THE SHORT VERSION

A small peanut-shaped lump of Green Stuff becomes a pack on the Dwarf’s back. A wet sculpting tool defines the flap, rolled top and carrying strap, keeping the added equipment simple enough to repeat throughout an army. The guide warns against disturbing nearby beard and hair detail, and uses the packs to make the force look equipped for a journey rather than merely ranked for display.
