Red Crested Skinks and Masters of Magic

THE SHORT VERSION

Kevin Coleman treats formation changes as an active tactical tool: infantry can move through jungle in Loose Order and reform into ranks when a defensible position offers better combat resolution. Red Crested Skinks combine unimpeded movement, charge attacks and rank bonuses with supporting Skink skirmishers. The Lore of Beasts rallies vulnerable units, discourages dangerous monsters, strengthens Priests and adds movement. An encounter warning reminds players that hiding a lone wizard in scenery can expose him to lethal local wildlife.
