Stephen chooses to defend a Break Through mission against Paul’s Empire, strengthened with hired Duellists and a Maneater. Disaster follows as the undead catapult collapses, the Scorpion dies underground and jungle encounters wound the Hierophant. The Maneater kills the Tomb Prince before falling, while Paul’s infantry and knights steadily destroy the remaining skeletons. Stephen’s last attempt to hold the advance with bowmen fails, giving the Empire the victory.
