Constructing a Mycetic Spore
July 2005·pp. 90–91
THE SHORT VERSION
A cut polystyrene egg sits in a shallow depression in a bevelled foamboard base, creating a biological drop vessel embedded in the earth. Six Lictor talons form its outer ribs and lower anchors; devourer components, scored openings, pressed hollows and Green Stuff add organic detail before filler supplies texture. Liche Purple spines are highlighted toward bone, while the fleshy sacs progress from Bestial Brown through Vomit Brown and Bleached Bone to match the studio swarm.
