Times of War
September 2025·pp. 20–23
THE SHORT VERSION
Three sets of realm rules recreate distinctive periods and locations from Age of Sigmar’s history. The Brimstone Peninsula rewards furious attacks amid dangerous volcanic terrain; Glymmsforge adds deathly resilience, easier manifestation summoning and returning casualties; Thondia encourages aggressive movement and charges in a landscape that can injure nearby troops.
Each location combines a realm spell, terrain feature, hero affliction, command and twist. These linked effects make the setting shape battlefield decisions, allowing a current game to evoke the Realmgate Wars, Soul Wars or Era of the Beast without reconstructing an entire historical campaign.
