The Badab War
February 2012·pp. 20–21
THE SHORT VERSION
The Badab retrospective follows Lufgt Huron’s ambition from secession to the Astral Claws’ fall and the emergence of Huron Blackheart’s Red Corsairs. Alan Bligh describes the attraction of a story in which the Imperium’s greatest defenders turn their strength against each other through pride, greed and treachery. He recalls expanding the few hundred words and Chapter colour schemes of White Dwarf 101 into two Imperial Armour books, illustrating how a small early piece of background could become a fully developed civil war.
