The Horns and Snout

January 2012·p. 73

THE SHORT VERSION

Brown-based horns receive a sepia shade and feathered pale layers that grow brighter towards the tip, while their iron bands use shaded steel and a clean metallic edge. The same method scales down to hooves and other Beastmen horns. The snout deliberately retains darker flesh or receives a flesh wash to avoid over-highlighting its bovine shape.
