The Seadrake
October 2011·p. 100
THE SHORT VERSION
Pale towers and hull are shaded differently to distinguish warm stone from cold painted surfaces, with blue-grey roofs above them. The separate sails build from deep blue through brighter blue to pale edge highlights, and their runes are picked out in cold white. Painting the three tower-masts apart from the hull preserves access to the ship’s slender detailing.
