The Flaming Scimitar

THE SHORT VERSION

The Flaming Scimitar’s purple hull and pale sails frame contrasting fire and air elementals. Orange and yellow stages brighten the Efreet, while blue-grey shading and white highlights describe the Djinn; the same methods recur in the sail motifs. Separate sails allow the delicate pale canvas and its warm recess shading to stay clean while the deck is drybrushed.

Denied official help, he steals the Heldenhammer and raids Zandri to pay other captains to join his pursuit. The Golden Magus, Aranessa Saltspite and Red Brokk bring their own interests to the expedition, with Prince Yrellian encountered later inside the Galleon’s Graveyard.
