THE SHORT VERSION

Duncan Rhodes keeps the hull halves and sails apart to reach Noctilus’ citadel and the wrecks around it. Drybrushed grey rock supports differently coloured broken ships, purple sails and a pale castle with a red roof. The guide combines dark washes with fine highlights so that the many small details remain distinct within the largest vessel in the set.

Denied official help, he steals the Heldenhammer and raids Zandri to pay other captains to join his pursuit. The Golden Magus, Aranessa Saltspite and Red Brokk bring their own interests to the expedition, with Prince Yrellian encountered later inside the Galleon’s Graveyard.
