The Black Kraken
October 2011·p. 99
THE SHORT VERSION
The Black Kraken is assembled with its base because several tentacles are moulded into the sea. Fine grey edges define its black hull, while shaded steel and brass establish the machinery. The caged eye progresses from dark green to a bright green centre and a white dot, making the small detail read as a luminous focal point.
