The Black Kraken

THE SHORT VERSION

Once a gifted Barak Varr engineer, Tordrek Hackhart is exiled after trying to murder his rival Gunnarsson. He escapes in the tentacled Black Kraken, a submersible born from disturbing dreams, and later joins Noctilus through an unexplained bargain. Articulated mechanical limbs and paddles hidden within its body make the ship resemble a terrifying creature as much as an engine.

The Grand Alliance

Jaego Roth returns to Sartosa to find his family killed by the supposedly legendary Dreadfleet. Denied official help, he steals the Heldenhammer and raids Zandri to pay other captains to join his pursuit. The Golden Magus, Aranessa Saltspite and Red Brokk bring their own interests to the expedition, with Prince Yrellian encountered later inside the Galleon’s Graveyard.
