MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 381

When the Storm Hits

September 2011·pp. 72–73

THE SHORT VERSION

Chris Peach’s Storm of Magic board uses unusually tall towers and a central magic circle to create a whole battlefield in upheaval. Dreadstone Blight and Witchfate Tor components are stacked or inverted to balance battlements, Garden of Morr walls form courtyards and a Fortified Manor section provides a firing platform. Although only four pieces are designated fulcrums, the surrounding terrain offers several convincing alternatives for larger games.
