Bloodbath at the Bubbling Pits

Robin Cruddace’s Tomb Kings pursue Jeremy Vetock’s Ogres in a 3,000-point battle over a sacred dagger that a Maneater has turned into a replacement tooth. Exploding lava pits complicate a brutal contest between sphinxes and the new Ogre monsters. Early Undead successes give way to Golgfag’s destruction of the Necrosphinx and Hierophant, the Tomb King’s death against an Ironblaster crewman and the army’s subsequent collapse. The Ogres retain the relic and win 3,508 victory points to 2,335.
