INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 370

White Lions of Chrace

October 2010·pp. 18–19

THE SHORT VERSION

Mark Harrison gives the new White Lions an aggressive woodland-fighter identity through forward motion, flowing robes and trailing lion pelts. Their heavy shoulder armour addresses the moment of exposure when swinging a two-handed axe, while repeated Chracian motifs unify the regiment. The accompanying background explains their defence of the mountain passes and their ancient role as the Phoenix Kings’ personal protectors.
