Martin’s Ogre Kingdoms

THE SHORT VERSION

Martin Footitt reorganises the Ogre Battalion into a larger block of Bulls and paints it in red, black and metal inspired by John Blanche’s artwork. He adapts his display-painting habits to an army by concentrating extra highlights on focal points such as faces, while Gnoblars are completed as a rapid batch. Retro red weapon hafts, scorched cannon barrels and a large fanged-maw banner give the compact collection its distinctive character.
