Mat’s 3,485-point Empire army brings together troops from several provinces under an Arch Lector. Large State Troop formations, Flagellants and Greatswords supply the main fighting body, supported by detachments and substantial artillery. Knights Panther under Werner von Kriegstadt pursue the historical task of killing Azhag, while priests and three wizards offer magical defence and varied offensive tricks, at the cost of a considerable investment in characters.

Trouble in the Border Princes
