Schwarzhelm and his knights tear through an Orc formation, but its hulking commander survives the first charge. Rather than attempt another full lance attack at close quarters, the Emperor’s Champion changes weapons and uses his trained warhorse’s movements to create an opening. The scene contrasts the greenskin’s strength and resilience with Schwarzhelm’s practiced judgement, presenting the hero through a closely observed fight within the larger battle.
