THE SHORT VERSION

Mat Ward’s 2,000-point Wood Elf army increases the size of its Glade Guard formations so they can exploit deeper shooting ranks and remain useful after contact. Eternal Guard benefit from high Initiative and numerous attacks, while six Tree Kin provide a tougher blocking formation with full monstrous support. Dryads and several nobles complete an army whose opportunities come from building larger versions of familiar units rather than simply adding exotic choices.
