Army Workshop: The Legion of Despair

THE SHORT VERSION

Chad Mierzwa, Nick Bayton and Duncan Rhodes build a Vampire Counts army outward from a Battalion, testing its colours and basing before expanding. Movement trays are planned first so small graveyard scenes and multi-based groups fit naturally into the regiments. A palette drawn from the army-book cover unites the horde, with vivid red details and three centrepiece models providing contrast against ghostly troops and restrained bases.

Trouble in the Border Princes
