MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 367

Modelling Workshop: Fields of Glory

July 2010·pp. 80–85

THE SHORT VERSION

Andy Hall examines Chad Mierzwa’s representations of the new active terrain rules. Existing kits, spare parts and simple sculpting turn walls, woods, ruins and craters into recognisable magical hazards or defensive positions. Each example explains both construction and battlefield effects, followed by a High Elf–Vampire Counts encounter on Bleak Moor that shows how the same terrain can help one side, threaten the other or upset either player’s plans.
