Blood Forest

THE SHORT VERSION

The carnivorous wood uses a red-tinged Citadel Wood, bleeding knots and suspended corpses to signal its appetite. Casting a spell within it or targeting a model there causes the trees to attack occupants before the entire forest moves randomly. The example turns ordinary vegetation into an active magical participant, with Corpse Cart and Tomb Kings parts supplying small warnings a cautious general might still overlook.
