Folivar Windweaver leads an expedition to stop Vlad von Carstein reaching a dangerous portal on a magical moor. The illustrated account concentrates on terrain interactions: blood-hungry trees destroy a chariot, a loose slope costs a Silver Helm his mount and a Charnel Pit steadies the Undead’s ability to replace losses. Both armies exploit magical sites, making the landscape central to the story rather than a neutral backdrop.

Trouble in the Border Princes
