Duncan Rhodes gives a compact sequence for the Swan Knights’ polished metal, strong blue cloth and cool white heraldry. Black and blue washes define the armour before silver highlights, while progressively lighter blue layers distinguish the cloth. White begins from a grey foundation to retain shadows, with warm flesh and brown leather finishing the model; the shield repeats the same palette to keep the mounted regiment coherent.

Adam Troke connects the new modular scenery to Osgiliath’s repeated changes of fortune, from Boromir’s victories to Faramir’s desperate retreat. Two complete scenarios use different Middle-earth systems, followed by further narrative prompts, Dave Andrews’s design explanation and practical terrain advice. The closing recipes reproduce both the Studio’s pale stone ruins and a spectral Angmar variation, making the feature useful for play as well as scenery construction.
