Painting Outpost XIII
January 2010·pp. 100–101
THE SHORT VERSION
The fortress’s rusty red walls begin with Dark Flesh and receive repeated Blazing Orange drybrushing, with a small amount of white in the last highlight. Additional battle damage, contrasting guns, small coloured details and a black flag make the finished tower legible as an Imperial stronghold. The guide combines the explicit wall recipe with a close look at the completed doors, escape route and upper defences.
