Ask Eavy Metal: Highlighting Dark Angels

January 2010·p. 87

THE SHORT VERSION

Darren Latham answers a reader who wants to highlight Dark Angels without making the armour too light. He recommends a black undercoat, a Dark Angels Green layer and restrained Snot Green marks confined to the edges. A still finer Scorpion Green highlight is optional, with the adjacent Legion armour method providing the model for controlling placement rather than broadening the bright areas across the panels.
