Eavy Metal Masterclass: Painting Faces
February 2009·pp. 96–101
THE SHORT VERSION
The Eavy Metal team treats the face as a miniature’s focal point and explains how thin layers preserve its expression. Basic skin recipes expand into hair, eyes, stubble, scars and a more elaborate character-face method, with separate green-skin approaches for Orcs and Goblins. Diagrams show where shadows and highlights belong, while the examples stress subtle changes in colour and placement instead of a single universal flesh recipe.
