Painting Vehicles

November 2008·p. 89

THE SHORT VERSION

Nick Bayton sprays a green Razorback with Foundation and brighter green layers, then blacks out fittings and paints its metalwork. A controlled black wash defines panel recesses, followed by mixed and pure bright-green edge highlights. Metallic details receive their own restored highlights. The method is intended for different Marine vehicles, with markings and battle damage left for the following instalment.
