Painting the Power Armour

THE SHORT VERSION

Regal Blue is deepened with a blue-black recess shade before successive Ultramarines Blue and pale blue-grey edges bring the armour into focus. Joe keeps the hands and backpack separate for access, but checks their final position so the highlights share one implied light source. Temporary putty assembly is suggested when the painter is unsure which components will obstruct the brush.
