’Eavy Metal: Elves of Ulthuan
August 2006·pp. 82–85
THE SHORT VERSION
High Elf characters demonstrate a palette of pale cloth and hair contrasted with richer jewels, carefully shaded metal and decorative patterns. Close views of Tyrion, Teclis, Eltharion and Imrik highlight the fine lines, runes and small motifs that make the models distinctive. The final banner and shield gallery connects freehand designs with Elven heraldry, showing how a restrained army palette can still accommodate phoenixes, dragons, stars and the emblems of different realms.
