THE SHORT VERSION

Two armies fight to control table quarters while native beasts arrive from reserve. Both players purchase a separate creature allowance, but a fresh opposed roll each turn decides who actually commands each beast or herd. Arrival location and uncertain control create an environmental threat that neither side can safely regard as a dependable ally. The victory condition remains territorial, encouraging players to use or evade the wildlife while preserving scoring units.
