Monster Hunt

THE SHORT VERSION

An attacking expedition seeks specimens from a creature-infested area while defenders wait to exploit the hunters’ engagement. Wildlife begins on the table and the defender’s conventional force enters later from reserve. The attacker receives doubled destruction points, while the defender values surviving scoring units instead. Requiring a substantial but limited investment in creatures makes hunting the beasts central without removing the risk of the organized ambush.
