Andy Smilie treats the Necron Lord’s equipment as the main way to alter an otherwise relatively fixed army. A Destroyer body and warscythe answer powerful characters or distant artillery, while resurrection orbs keep Warriors or mobile Destroyers functioning and delay phase-out. Two illustrated plans use Monolith extraction or concentrated Destroyer movement to preserve firepower. The Lord’s task is to extend the army’s survival and respond where its ordinary units cannot.
