Give Me Some Skin! Human

February 2006·p. 83

THE SHORT VERSION

Human skin builds from Dark Flesh through a mixture with Dwarf Flesh, then a more selective flesh layer. Elf Flesh highlights the nose, brows, cheeks and lips. Leaving earlier colours around deep features gives the face shape without a separate ink wash, and thin controlled applications keep the contrast concentrated on its prominent planes.
