Dwarf Slayers: Painting Workshop

February 2006·pp. 82–83

THE SHORT VERSION

The Slayer guide concentrates on the bare skin and orange hair that make these Dwarfs stand out from armoured regiments. Vermin Brown and flesh-coloured layers define muscles, while orange over a dark brown mixture gains warm Bronzed Flesh highlights. Gold and steel ornaments receive separate finishes and common earth bases unify the unit. Additional Human, Elf and Orc face recipes show how the same controlled progression can produce distinctly different skin tones.
