Múrin and Drár: Cloth and Metal

February 2006·p. 38

THE SHORT VERSION

Shadow Grey darkened with black begins the cloth, rising through Shadow Grey and Fortress Grey mixtures to fine white-tinted edges. Metal starts over a black-and-grey foundation, then builds through Boltgun Metal, Chainmail and Mithril Silver. The two sequences keep their deepest tones in recesses while concentrating the brightest paint on raised areas, making heavily layered clothing and armour legible at miniature scale.
