Estalian Conquistadors

THE SHORT VERSION

Eric Sarlin builds a mixed pirate-and-conquistador force by selecting older Empire and Pirazzo figures with morion helmets, then varying their heads and weapons with Free Company parts. A more involved standard bearer uses brass rod, skull-and-crossbones fittings and a cut-down flag rounded with Green Stuff. The finished models illustrate how a small number of donor figures can yield a coherent but varied expeditionary army.
