RULES·WHITE DWARF 307

’Ware the Flanks

July 2005·p. 106

THE SHORT VERSION

Both armies try to move troops off designated exits while also reducing the opposing force. Scoring combines the value of enemy models killed with friendly models that have escaped, rewarding a balanced plan rather than an uninterrupted fight. The defender deploys first and rocky hills count as difficult ground, shaping the routes toward each flank. A doubled final score distinguishes a major victory from a narrower success.
