A Serpent Priestess is a 235-point Dogs of War ally occupying both Hero and Rare allowances. Several armies can hire her normally; darker forces instead grant an equivalent free Priestess to their opponent, while still using the selection slots. She is a Level 3 wizard protected by a warding amulet, armed with an armour-piercing High Age blade and immune to the relevant Lustrian encounters. The author asks players to agree on these character-like rules before a battle.
