THE SHORT VERSION

Phil Kelly commands the Crimson Stalkers against Adam Troke’s 33 Ork Brutes on an industrial board, trying to kill as many defenders as possible before his ten Tyranids die. Speed and consolidation let the team isolate squads, but every noisy encounter increases the defenders’ Klaxon advantage. Skabgut stays on a rooftop shooting while Phil races along gantries and through the complex.

At lunch the players agree on extra specialist equipment to develop the story, adding Acid Blood and potential Ork surprises. Phil eventually loses momentum in front of concentrated shooting, leaving only the Horror in the Dark to fight on. It brings the final tally to 27 kills before dying, earning Carnifex rank in the mission’s scale. Both players value the narrative result while identifying missed opportunities in their final attacks and Skabgut’s deployment.
