Asger’s Daemons use buildings to shelter expensive models from Stephen’s Screaming Skull Catapult before engaging the Tomb Kings in prolonged combats. A risky moment sees the Exalted Daemon fail to wound archers and face instability, but the army generally survives long enough to grind down its opponents. Plaguebearers eventually catch the Tomb Prince, while Stephen destroys the chariot when it emerges from cover. Asger wins decisively but acknowledges that several small rolls could have changed the result.
