THE SHORT VERSION

Rhino squads need staged movement under the revised transport rules, and close-range bolter fire may be preferable to an immediate ordinary assault. A Land Raider-borne Terminator unit can then deliver the decisive charge or protect those supporting squads, while its own shooting and the transport’s bulk remain useful alternatives when the ideal assault opportunity fails to appear.
