Beliefs and Gene-seed

May 2005·pp. 86–88

THE SHORT VERSION

Close ties to the Mechanicus and a reverence for the Emperor accompany the Chapter’s hunt for ancient information and artefacts. Its reluctance to prove the destruction of corrupted finds attracts Inquisitorial concern, while extra gene-seed testing provides no clear explanation for abundant psykers or reliable answer to competing claims about the Blood Ravens’ ancestry.

Other news introduces Winter Assault’s Imperial Guard, a Forge World Chaos Dragon and Warmaster Ancients, while the exhibition hall refurbishment and downloadable hobby material show changes beyond the miniature releases.

Green Is Good… Mostly

Guy Haley argues that a green tabletop need not limit every battle to pleasant parkland. A handful of industrial terrain pieces changes both atmosphere and tactics, and he points readers toward winter and swamp projects as manageable ways to broaden their games before returning to the persistent failures of his increasingly reinforced Goblins.
