Colonel Schaeffer, Imperial Penal Commander

THE SHORT VERSION

The profile explores the Last Chancers as condemned soldiers whose abilities remain useful to the Imperium. Schaeffer offers survival and redemption through missions most of his recruits will never return from, while Lieutenant Kage embodies the psychological cost of that service. An expedition into the Eye of Terror illustrates the colonel’s brutal effectiveness against a Black Legion outpost. A Kill Team excerpt places that promise of a last chance directly in the recruits’ experience.
