Elven Blades

THE SHORT VERSION

A designer’s note revises the way Elven swords work, allowing a finely balanced blade to be used as an ordinary hand weapon or with two hands at the player’s choice. Equipment restrictions prevent the stronger attack being combined freely with shields or spears. The change applies to both heroes and warriors from the earlier manuals, supporting a tactical style in which adjacent Elves can contribute different strengths to the same fight.
