THE SHORT VERSION

The team reviews its favourite projects and games from 2025, then lays out plans for the next hobby year. Adam enjoyed inventing and painting a Space Marine Chapter, Ben expanded a playable Genestealer Cult, Dan combined Adeptus Mechanicus preparations with narrative gaming, and Matt built a large airborne Legions Imperialis collection.

Their goals show different ways to sustain momentum: a fresh Horus Heresy force, a break from purple models, a return to an older army and further tiny aircraft. Brush Tips: Helsmiths of Hashut

Max and Connor explain how tyranny, vanity, industry and perfectionism shaped the Helsmiths’ official colour scheme.
