THE SHORT VERSION

Max treats the bases as evidence of the Helsmiths’ bombardment rather than neutral scenery. Texture paint, patches of sand and angled slate produce a blasted surface, then grey-brown tones, pale drybrushing and green shading make it resemble an unnatural industrial wasteland. The brief heraldry note beside the recipe also relates the army’s archaic runes, horns and ziggurat motifs to its carefully ordered visual identity.

Paint Splatter: Darkwater Heroes — Edmark Valoran
