Satellite Uplink: Hive Fleet Angrboda
October 2025·pp. 118–121
THE SHORT VERSION
Mr Pink, also known as the Modern Synthesist, presents the Viridian Stalkers of Casavant Prime, a Tyranid kill team whose members are individually converted for specific biological roles. Miniature versions of larger Tyranid creatures, Genestealers reflecting several design generations and forms influenced by consumed alien species make the collection an exploration of sculpting as well as army identity.
Their Armies on Parade display depicts a ship being breached by a scratch-sculpted Tyranid pod, with old and new Necromunda scenery forming the interior. Bright green flesh, pink chitin and dark turquoise carapace unify the creatures; the feature supplies the named Contrast and highlight colours used for that scheme.
